HELLO FRIENDS, I AM HERE WITH A GREAT ONE! WRONG TURN, THE SHENANDOAH PACK SERIES 1, BY TAYLOR LAW, IS ONE YOU WILL NOT WANT TO PUT DOWN! I HAVE MY REVIEW, LINKS, AND EVEN A SMALL EXCERPT, SO LET'S GET TO IT!

BOY OH BOY DOES THIS ONE FIT THIS BOOK TO A T! HERE IS MY REVIEW:

Wrong Turn (The Shenandoah Pack Series #1) by: Taylor Law
                                                           reviewed by: Becky

After a long, hard year filled with stress and heartache, Jessie Rohen decides to take a vacation to visit his friend and get away from real life for a little while, hoping it will help him heal. On the way, he has an accident and is injured. He wakes up with no memories of his past, not even of his name.

Xander Dane is a wolf shifter and Second of his pack. He saves Jessie’s life, only to realize Jess is his mate. Xander has been in the closet his whole life. Coming out may be harder than ever because not only does he have to tell everyone he’s gay and risk exile, but he has to tell his mate he’s part wolf. Since Jessie can’t remember who he is, Xander has to take a chance on a man who may have a life waiting for him somewhere else – a life that doesn’t include Xander.

I was so excited when I started reading this story because I realized I had read the first (smaller) edition, and loved it, in fact I re-read that one three times! Dare I say this version rocked my world even more, and I didn't think that was possible!

Taylor Law has a sense of character development that is amazing, these guys just pop off the page and you will love them as much as I did!

Xander never expects to find his mate after a mud slide, in fact he never expects to find one at all because of the secret he has kept from everyone for years! Can he come to terms with everyone knowing his secret, and if not will he be able to give up the person who has become the most important thing in his life?

Ro wakes up after a mudslide while he was traveling, not remembering a thing, he isn't even sure if the name Ro is right, but what he is sure of is that the man that rescued him ticks all his boxes and then some! What will happen when he remembers who he is? Will he be able to stay with Xander, or does he have people waiting for him?

Oh...my...word, you just have to read this one, you will love it as much as I do, I know it! Thanks Taylor, for a second, fantastic edition of a book I already loved!

HOW ABOUT AN EXCERPT!

Xan sniffed the air to make certain he wasn’t missing anything and caught the sharp, bitter scent of fear and pain. Hidden underneath those smells was the musky, citrus smell of sweat and human. The smell made his heart clench in his chest and his panic grow to near horror. He ran where his nose told him to go and found an arm sticking out of the mud and leaves piled on the ground under a huge oak tree. The rest of the man was buried. Xander's wolf whimpered roughly as pain shot through his chest.

He started digging, flinging dirt haphazardly behind him. His pack came over to help him claw at the ground, moving branches and items that had been rendered unrecognizable by the force of the water. As more of the dark-haired stranger was uncovered, he latched on to the jacket sleeve with his sharp teeth and pulled. He tugged with all his might, revealing the man inch by inch.

Once the outsider was completely uncovered, Xan shifted. Stark naked, he turned to address his pack. “Sam, go get Doc Harris and tell him to get to my cabin immediately,” he barked out. “Josh, go with him and help him get whatever supplies Doc may need.” As the two wolves scampered off into the rainy twilight, Xander leaned over the man to check for injuries and gasped. Even covered in muck, the guy was gorgeous. He was slight, with dark hair trimmed in a business style, and his scent…

A low growl escaped Xander’s throat without his permission. “What the—” he started but was interrupted by a touch to his shoulder. Xan spun around in a defensive position, ready to attack the threat. “Xander, what is wrong with you?” He recognized the voice of his friend through the fog clouding his brain.

YEP, YOU KNOW IT'S GONNA BE EPIC! I HOPE YOU GRAB THIS ONE FRIENDS, YOU WILL ADD IT TO THE RE-READ SHELF JUST LIKE I DID! THANKS FOR JOINING ME FOR MY REVIEW OF WRONG TURN, SEE YOU NEXT TIME!
