RINGO AND THE SUNSHINE POLICE REVIEW!

HELLO FRIENDS, I HAVE MY REVIEW OF RINGO AND THE SUNSHINE POLICE BY NICK WILGUS, AND BOY IS THIS ONE BRILLIANT BOOK! LOOK BELOW FOR MY REVIEW AND THE BUY LINK! LET'S GET STARTED!

I LOVE THIS QUOTE FOR JEREMY! HERE IS MY REVIEW:

Ringo and the Sunshine Police
by: Nick Wilgus
reviewed by: Becky

Thomas, an older gay musician living in a small Southern town, is ready to start a family. He fosters Jeremy, a special needs boy with no arms, and teaches him to play the drums so Jeremy can realize his potential to do anything he wants. Though it takes time, Thomas’s closeted boyfriend Randy steps out of the shadows to be part of what Thomas is working to build. With the advent of marriage equality, it’s a different world in the Deep South—one where the three of them have the chance to be a family.
Yet no one said it would be easy, and they soon learn the foster care system is far from perfect.
Just as Jeremy begins to settle in and thrive, his biological father reappears, demanding custody. Thomas and Randy know the man is unfit to care for Jeremy, but the law says otherwise. It seems they’re the only ones looking out for Jeremy’s best interests, and they face an uphill battle if they want to keep their new family together.

This book is amazing, and I love this authors ability to craft a story that is not all sunshine and roses, but you somehow know everything will be ok. Jeremy will leap off the pages of this book and straight into your heart!

Thomas has decided he wants to be a foster parent and maybe adopt, and when Jeremy comes into his life, it changes forever. Thomas's goal is to make Jeremy realize that even though he has no arms he can lead a normal life. When Jeremy's real father tries to get custody of him, will all of Thomas' love and work be for nothing? Will he lose Jeremy anyway?

This is the story of a boy and a man who need each other, but more than that this is a story of love and survival and the power of not giving up on those that need you, you will be as enchanted by this book as I am! Thanks Nick, for an amazing book that I won't soon forget!

the 5 fishing pole rating :)

I REALLY LOVE THE REASON FOR THIS RATING AND YOU WILL TOO! GRAB THIS BOOK TODAY!

DIRTY GAMES RELEASE BLITZ AND REVIEW POST!

HEY GUYS, BELOW IS MY RELEASE BLITZ AND REVIEW POST FOR DIRTY GAMES BY BARBARA ELSBORG, I LOVE THIS AUTHOR AND THIS BOOK IS ONE OF HER BEST! LET'S GET STARTED:

Buy Links: Amazon US | Amazon UK

Length: 108,000 words

Blurb

The last thing Linton needs when he arrives home after three months in the States, is to find his beautiful flat is a squat, complete with his younger brother Dirk, who’s lying in Linton’s bed with a couple who’ve paid him for sex. Dirk isn’t even supposed to have a key. But after Linton throws Dirk out, life slams in hard and if his brother is to have any hope of a future, Linton has to play dirty. Or at least pretend to. What he hasn’t factored in is having to play the game to the bitter end.

Film star Thorne Morrisey has everything. Good looks, charm, seductive magnetism and a voice that could charm a snake from its basket. He can also be a real shit and yet people still love him - though he’d rather not have the love of his ex. Owen’s a suicidal wreck after Thorne dumped him in a very public and humiliating way and Owen’s wealthy brother has his own reasons for wanting revenge on Thorne. Max’s weapon of choice is his employee, Linton.

Linton and Thorne are on a collision course and in for the game of their lives. But who’s playing who?

MY REVIEW:

THIS QUOTE IS PERFECT FOR THIS BOOK! HERE IS MY REVIEW:

Linton would love for his brother Drew to live a good and productive life, but when Linton comes home from a business trip to find his flat destroyed and his brother in bed with people for money, it seems impossible to reach him. Why is Drew so self destructive? Linton would do anything to help his brother, but what happens when he gets in over his head?

Thorne is an actor, and he feels a spark when he meets Linton, can he trust someone after some painful events in his past? Does he dare? When Thorne finds out what he thinks is the truth about why Linton wanted him, will he react too badly to ever be forgiven?

This is a story of love, trust and learning to let go of a painful past so you can grab onto a lovely future.

                                                   the 5 Penguin rating :)

YES I HAD MY REASONS FOR THIS RATING! BELOW IS A BIO ON BARBARA, CHECK IT OUT AND DON'T FORGET TO GRAB THE BOOK ABOVE!

Author Bio

Barbara Elsborg lives in Kent in the South of England. She always wanted to be a spy, but having confessed to everyone without them even resorting to torture, she decided it was not for her. Vulcanology scorched her feet. A morbid fear of sharks put paid to marine biology. So instead, she spent several years successfully selling cyanide.

After dragging up two rotten, ungrateful children and frustrating her sexy, devoted, wonderful husband (who can now stop twisting her arm) she finally has time to conduct an affair with an electrifying plugged-in male, her laptop.

Her books feature quirky heroines and bad boys, and she hopes they are as much fun to read as they were to write.

SUBMERGED REVIEW!!

HEY FRIENDS! I'M HERE WITH MY REVIEW OF SUBMERGED: HOME BOOK 1 BY SUSAN REEVES, AND I MUST SAY THIS IS MY FAVORITE BOOK OF THE YEAR SO FAR! THE FEELS!!!! LOOK BELOW FOR MY REVIEW AND PLEASE GRAB THIS BOOK TODAY, YOU WILL NOT REGRET IT! LET'S GET STARTED:

THIS QUOTE APPLIES TO THIS BOOK ON SO MANY LEVELS! HERE IS MY REVIEW:

Submerged
Home Book 1
by: Susan Reeves
reviewed by: Becky

Sometimes, to make it back to shore, you need to take the hand that's offered.

Jared Simpson had his feet swept out from under him, and eventually found himself living on the streets. When Gavin Wells and his daughter come into Jared's life, he's fighting to keep going, struggling to keep swimming towards something that will let him stand tall and steady again.

Gavin Wells is fighting his own battles: in-laws, bureaucracy, and the guilt that overwhelms him every time he closes his eyes to sleep. He now has a new challenge to face: his sexuality. He's attracted to someone for the first time in months, and not only is that person a man, but he's homeless, with the potential to derail Gavin's already complicated life.

But fate has brought these two men together. If they can hold tight to each other, they can weather the storm, and find their way home to become a family.

It isn't very often that a book moves me to tears more than one time while reading it, and it is even less often that I reread it right after I'm done, but both of those things happened when I read this book, it was beyond epic! Jared and Gavin will break your heart and mend it again no doubt.

I don't throw around phrases like " best book of the year so far" much, but this book is the best I have read so far this year!

Gavin is reeling from the tragic loss of his wife and the fact that he is now raising his infant daughter by himself when he notices a man that needs help, a man that stirs him the way a man never has. What does this mean? Will Jared accept his help? Will helping Jared come at too high a cost?

Jared is fighting to stay above water but sometimes it is just to hard, will Gavin help him fight the demons that plague him? Can they be fought?

I wish I could tell you the secrets of this book, but they aren't mine to tell and I will let you enjoy it for yourself! I will tell you that Gavin and Jared's story is riveting, and you will be rooting for this little family as hard as I was! Thanks Susan, for an amazing read, I can't wait for book 2 already!

the 5 Two Minute Noodle rating :)

I JUST HAD TO DO THIS RATING! YOU WILL SEE WHY :) GRAB THIS BOOK BELOW, I KNOW YOU WILL ADORE IT AS MUCH AS I DO!

COWBOYS DON'T RIDE UNICORNS REVIEW!

HEY GUYS, I AM HERE WITH MY GIRL AMY'S REVIEW OF COWBOY'S DON'T RIDE UNICORNS: A COWBOYS DON'T STORY BY TARA LAIN! I LOVED THIS BOOK SO MUCH AND SO DOES AMY! LET'S TAKE A LOOK AT HER REVIEW:

THIS IS JUST THE RIGHT QUOTE FOR THIS BOOK, TRUST ME! HERE IS AMY'S REVIEW!

Cowboys Don't Ride Unicorns
A Cowboys Don't Story
by: Tara Lain
reviewed by: Amy

A Cowboys Don’t Story
Cowboy Danny Boone—a name he made up one drunken night and has regretted ever since—harbors a big past and yearns for a small future. A short, bright career as a champion bull rider almost ended in his death when his homophobic father discovered Danny was gay. Now Danny longs for a plot of land he can build a ranch on, enough money to make up for some of the education he missed… and, secretly, a beautiful femme who likes to top—a combo rarer than a unicorn.
Then onto the guest ranch where Danny works drives San Francisco decorator Laurie Belmont, a young man so gorgeous he makes the horses gasp, and so ballsy he almost kills Danny’s attacker. Laurie’s trying to find his way out from under the thumb of a domineering mother, helpless father, and rich, privileged boyfriend. But no matter the attraction, their lives are worlds apart, and cowboys don’t ride unicorns.

This is the second book in the series Cowboys Don't,  I have book 1 but haven't had the chance to read it yet, so I will say you can read this as a standalone!!   I definitely will be reading book 1 very soon.

This book is about Danny Boone, a bull rider who works on a ranch and is definitely running from something or someone. He's a cowboy through and through but some just don't like that he is gay.  Trying to save money to buy his own ranch, working for Rand has been great.   Then guest start arriving, one in particular, whose looks are quite stunning.

Laurie, short for Lawrence, steps out of his car and what a site that cowboy was.  Laurie and his boyfriend came to relax.  Laurie is a designer, decorator.  He wants to own his own business and is saving what he can that his Mom and Dad aren't asking for.  Laurie feels like she owes them so much but they may be taking advantage of him.

After spending a few days in Danny's presence, Laurie is feeling things he know he shouldn't but can't help.  Danny is head over heels but knows he doesn't stand a chance with Laurie.

When Danny decides to go back to bull riding for the money, Laurie swoops in to save his life from the man who early killed Danny once before.

This book is so great.   Lots of cowboy, bull riding, San Francisco designing, love making excitement. Can these two who've had a lot thrown at them, come together for love?  Enjoy these guys getting to know each other, so different but doesn't that make for exciting times!!

I give this 3 unicorns and 2 pairs of cowboy boots for a great 5 star read!!!  You'll love it.   Tara writes an amazing love story!

I TOTALLY AGREE WITH AMY ON THIS ONE! THIS BOOK IS AMAZING AND YOU WILL LOVE IT JUST AS MUCH AS WE DID! GRAB IT BELOW AND SEE FOR YOURSELF!

THANKS FOR THE AWESOME REVIEW AMY, AND THANKS FOR DROPPING BY GUYS! SEE YOU NEXT TIME! GRAB THIS BOOK TODAY!

EXPOSED RELEASE DAY REVIEW!

HELLO FRIENDS, I AM VERY EXCITED TO BRING YOU ME RELEASE DAY REVIEW OF EXPOSED BY BEY DECKARD! LOOK BELOW FOR MY REVIEW AND THE BUY LINK, LET'S GET TO IT!

I CAN'T TELL YOU HOW PERFECT THIS QUOTE IS FOR THIS BOOK! YOU WILL HAVE TO READ IT AND FIND OUT WHY!! :) HERE IS MY REVIEW!

Exposed
by: Bey Deckard
reviewed by: Becky

With middle-age looming, Greg offsets his boring day job with what truly feeds his soul: photography. The camera is an extension of himself where he exposes his passion for the intersect of pleasure and pain. However, the lens also acts as a barrier, protecting his subjects from the shameful mistakes of his past, and Greg is left isolated and lonely.

Emyr stands on the cusp of fame, but adulation and abuse are both eroding his confidence, and one night, at the river’s edge, he seeks solace in the rain, hoping to hide his tears.

The photographer and the virgin rock star share an accidental connection on that dark, drizzly night. When Greg invites Emyr back to his hotel room, no strings attached, the young man should have bolted. Instead, an odd sense of trust allows him to follow Greg’s lead.

When the camera comes out, Emyr learns the stage isn’t the only place he loves to perform as Greg touches something inside him that rarely awakens. Faced with a beautiful, talented boy whose soul is as lonely as his own, will Greg be able to face his past and come to terms with it, or will he run from the connection he so desperately desires?

I knew this would be an amazing book because I love all of this authors work, what I didn't expect was to fall in love with these characters so completely! Bey really knows how to draw you into a story like you are living it with the characters!

Greg is just coasting through life, only doing photography, which is his passion, part time ( boy what hot photography it is too :P), Greg is damaged and he continues to let his past define his future. Will all that change when he meets budding star Emyr?

Emyr needs someone to lean on and when he and Greg meet, sparks fly and he thinks he may have found his future. He doesn't know how deep Greg's pain from his past runs, can love save him, or do the scars run too deep?

This is a hot, sexy read you really can't miss! Thanks Bey, for another brilliant book!

TROY OUT OF THE DARK REVIEW!!

HEY GUYS, I'M HERE (FINALLY) WITH MY REVIEW OF TROY: OUT OF THE DARK BY J.J. HARPER, AND MAN IS THIS BOOK AWESOME! BELOW IS MY REVIEW AS WELL AS THE BUY LINK! LET'S GET STARTED!

THIS QUOTE IS BEYOND PERFECT FOR THIS BOOK, YOU WILL SEE WHY! HERE IS MY REVIEW:

Rafferty ‘Raff’ McMahon—beaten, broken and cast out of his home at eighteen—turns to his aged aunt who helps him become a new man with a new name. Ten years later, a successful photographer with an edge to his work everyone seems to want, a call that will set his life on a roller coaster ride comes through. Troy Ballantyne, CEO of De’ath of You Enterprises, wants to meet him. Mesmerized by the voice coming down the line, Raff immediately agrees to the meeting.
“Hi, can I speak to Rafferty McMahon?” A deep and seductive voice asks.
“You are.” My reply is short, who the fuck is this? I’m having a horrendous day and, however hot this guy sounds, I want off my phone.

As he sets about researching, not the company but the man himself; captivated by Troy’s images, Raff is excited to meet the man behind the sexy drawl.
When Troy sets up a meeting with up-and-coming photographer Rafferty McMahon the last thing he expects is to be drawn to him. A connection he has already experienced once before, his heart beats a little faster. Is this for real?
“What do you want, Troy?” His voice, low and gravelly, sends shivers over my body.
“I don’t know. We have only just met but from the first moment I heard your voice I haven’t been able to stop thinking of you.”

The feeling of ownership overwhelms Troy and as much as he wants to stay locked away with only the memories of Franco, he can’t fight his feelings for this handsome man.
Is this the man Franco told Troy was waiting for him? Is he going to be the great love of his life? Will both Raff and Troy be allowed to be with their one true love, or is there someone out there ready to tear them apart?

If you have been waiting like I have for Troy to find love again after losing Franco in book 1, then you will love this book as much as I do! The chemistry between Troy and Raff is off the charts, but they will have to work for their happy ever after if that is in fact what they're after!

Troy hasn't found that spark with anyone since Franco, until he meets Raff, and let me tell you guys, these two are hot beyond words! If they want to be together they will have to navigate rough waters, and a past one of them thought he buried long ago!

You guys need to read this book if you haven't, it's amazing and I can't wait until the next book, there are questions to be answered about a certain someone.... :)! Thanks J.J, for another wonderful story I won't soon forget!

the 5 man bun rating :P

I JUST HAD TO DO THIS RATING IN HONOR OF RAFF! BELOW IS THE LINK IF YOU HAVEN'T READ THIS YET!! GRAB IT TODAY!!
